Davide Bordoni, born on September 13th 1973, starts his political activity at the age of 21 years old, since 1994. He achieved the M.D. in Sociology at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, with a final thesis titled “From labour Philosophy to labour Sociology”.
From April 2008 he is playing as Deputy Major for Productive Activities, Employment, Fashion & Expo and Coastlines of Rome. As Deputy Major, he is carrying on the development of the public administration of Rome by improving modernisation and new technologies. In this framework he carried out the plan of billboards for the city of Rome, which now, for the first time, provides the city of Rome with a rationalized and optimized plan about poster and wall charts, by denying their diffusion in the centre and in the artistic areas of the city. Furthermore, he carried out the first Plan of Commerce for Rome, that will rule commercialisation and urbanisation and is setting itself out as an instrument for a sustainable and integrated growth of the city. Moreover, he created the Desk for Productive Activities, which provides the users with an unique service on line for starting up enterprises and commercial activities.
In 2001 he won the elections for presidency of XIII Municipality of Rome and he was in charge until 2006; as he was just 28 years old, he was the youngest among the presidents of municipalities of the Italian Capital. From 2006 to 2008 he played as Counsellor at the Municipality of Rome and he was appointed as Vice President of the Commission VIII Commerce, Craft and Production and a member of the Budget Commission, Safety and Educational Policies.
