Speaker Bio:

As the Sustainability & Environment Manager, for ALDAR Properties, Mark Grundy is responsible for ensuring that the principles of sustainable development are taken in to consideration during decision making, with the aim of achieving continuous improvement is sustainable performance at ALDAR Properties. He joined the ALDAR family in June 2008.

Mark has over 16 years of experience as an environmental consultant and engineer within a variety of sectors including power, infrastructure, and oil and gas. His vast project experiences in sustainability and environmental management, includes development of sustainable design guidelines, impact assessments, strategic assessment, policy development, due diligence, auditing, engineering, feasibility studies, overall management systems, and project management.

He has been in the United Arab Emirates for the past 3 years. Prior to joining ALDAR, Mark was the Environmental Manager for Mott MacDonald for their Middle operation.
